Thanks fellas - crashed in the crit unfortunately. My fault. Got stuck outside of a rider who went wide and ended up riding on dust. Tires lost grip and went down. Managed to jump back on the bike and catch back onto the group... not sure why I didnt take my free lap - IDIOT! Anyway the crash must have started to separate the tubular from the wheel and that partially came off in part after 2 more laps (which was the final lap, convenient ey?). That caused the rear to lock up and I couldnt steer around the next corner. Over I went again into the curb. Got same time as the bunch and finished with the GC in the bag. Yeehoo! Bike seems ok and I have some bark off so all good. It was a LOOOOONG drive back to Calgary though... I think i've had time to write the race report as I'm procrastinating on taking a shower right now...
Special mention to Evan Bayer who helped out immensely. Congrats on his 2nd place in the GC!
