After reading the responses to that jack ass sports reporter in the states that commented on the Tour De France and the barbed wire fence crash, it is really disappointing to see some of the comments posted by the locals here in Alberta. How anyone can see that as "funny, laughable or entertaining" is very scary. Reading that the accident happened is bad enough, seeing some of the negative blog comments posted makes it worse.

To go out with firecrackers and purposely attack unsespecting riders is malicious and I would hope that any and all witnesses come forward.

People had no problem grouping together to seek revenge against the Vancouver Canuck Moron Riot fans, why not support the cyclist community.

I had no idea that accident happened and hope that the rider who was injured has a speedy recovery.

Just shocked!
