Full Results.

Guys, these are UNOFFICIAL. There are probably a few little tweaks in there I will need to clean up when I hear from the ABA, so take these as a 'first go'.

Thanks for a great weekend of racing. The volunteers make this happen and it was great to always have lots of help when I needed it, thank you everyone.

Trev

The story of the day was Eric Jensen dismantling the Cat3 field and soloing for almost the entire race. See you in Cat2 Eric.

Ferenc had a new baby boy at 1:46am on Sat morning. He still made it to the Crit and Road Race. It was his sixth kid. Congrats Ferenc, enjoy your new addition to the family. Here he is getting 7th in the road race after probably as little sleep as me!

Watching the Cat1/2 sprint was exciting as usual. When I am in the race, I usually watch from about 100m - 1km behind, so it was great to see it develop and climax with Cody taking top honours on the day.

Thanks Trev for organizing such an excellent race. I missed out on the ITT due to baby no. 6, but the crit and RR were great. Cat 3 was a lot of fun on the RR, these RMCC guys really know how to make the race exciting. Crazy attacks from first minute to last. I have never been to a race where all the racers arrived one by one, except a couple of pairs... Harley managed to capture second in the omnium, well done, and congrats to his upgrade as well!

If anyone has good photos from the weekend, send them to this guy at the herald. Maybe you'll get some photo cred.

I also need to compile photos for our sponsor, ARC Resources, who has asked me for photos from the weekend's events to put on their website and Facebook page, so if anyone has good photos from the weekend please also forward the best ones to me at:

matthew.joss@palisade.ca.

I also wanted to echo others' comments in thanking Trev and everyone else who volunteered their time to put on what can only be described as a tremendously successful 2011 JayLap race weekend.

Oh yeah! Congratulations Ferenc on Child #6. I'm tired thinking about 2 kids let alone 6. Not to mention your stellar racing this weekend.

Thanks for the great race guys. I enjoyed all of it, from the very difficult ITT course, to the excellent selection of a good-pavement crit lap, and a suitably difficult and interesting road race course (or as interesting as you can get riding on range-roads on a big grid... but this is Alberta, I know better than to hope for otherwise).

I'll be back next year, healthy legs permitting.
