While we were beer miling....
... Dallas was performing his own crazy feats of endurance. Makes me feel super silly for DNFing a 30min event. Although after the 2nd Labatt Blue I think I would have rather been riding alongside Dallas. Next Beer Mile, I am going to stick to a beer I know and like, I knew I was in for disaster from the first sip of the crap.

Reminds me of floating the river on a beauty summer day, hitting the bar afterwards, getting in a fight, and waking up in the drunk tank with a hammered guy puking on my leg at 11am the next day, then going to work ( the bike shop) and trying to explain why I was late ( still drunk), and getting sent home, and not making it, passing out under the bridge, then getting arrested again...
Damn that was a rough day, damn Labatts Blue :(
So sad I missed the Mile. Next year I suppose.
Wait a minute... riding from Banff to Jasper AT NIGHT in October? sleeping in cardboard and foam packaging at the back of a bike shop in Jasper? WTF??? If that isn't hard core I don't know what is...
