Nah, it was DarcyG leading out the Cat 5s. I was neatly tucked his immense draft. Those socks were the intimidation factor. We didn't win but people were scared of the socks.
Thanks for the "ugly/lucky" sock Rob. Made it through my first crit with all my skin.
I'll bring the lucky sock to our next race.
