Apparently Speed Theory is sending the most racers in the history of PLRR to the event this weekend. Here's the roster that we know of so far:
Women B (2):
Kailee, Sandra Y.
Cat 5 (15) :
Mike C., Clarke E., Darcy G., Alejandro H., Andy H., Mike Healy., David M., Rui R., Aryeh R., Mark S., Joel S., Rob W., Andrew W., Mike Hoang, Jay M.
Cat 4 (6):
Mike G., Carlos, Thomas, Slayer, Rob L., Larry
Cat 3 (5):
Keith, Stephen, Lachlan, Ben, Jason
Cat 1/2 (7):
Trev, A-Train, Dallas, Douche Rod, Frank, Jared, Dennis
If your name isn't on the list, please post so we can add it. Also, are there any volunteers out there for feed zone? The Cat 5s and Women probably won't need a feed, but everyone else might.
[Editor (BTW, that's Trev, not DarcyG): The photo is of me coming first loser at Velocity. Jeff Davis just emailed it to me. After 138km, it came down to a bike throw for 2nd !! I thought it was a cool shot.]

Anyone interested in going up to Lacombe or Wetaskwin on Saturday night for a more relaxed Sunday morning?
I'm in for Cat 3
Larry Welsh - Cat 4, registered last week.
Anyone know how long it takes to drive from Edm (U of A area) to Pigeon Lake? Coming from there Sunday morning...
I'm definitely interested on having a more relaxed Sunday morning. I think Rob W and Dave M are heading to Red Deer Saturday night.
Clark E,
Email me keithbayly@shaw.ca
Maybe we can arrange something for Saturday Night.
Sorry, take me off the list. Unfortunately,I can not go. Tracy, my riding partner, and I are training out of Canmore for the weekend. We are doing long rides on Sat and Sun if anyone wants to join us.
Mike, from UofA you are looking at a 45 minute to 1 hour drive (maybe even less).
Keith and Clarke, Rui and I had a discussion about going up to Wetaskiwin on Saturday night. I would not mind driving the course just to check it out. Will give you an email. If Rob and David are going to Red Deer, then maybe it makes sense to hang out as a group.
Jay Meakin, Cat 5
That would be great to drive the course. When are you guys planning on heading up? I probably won't be able to get away until after dinner, so I might be interrogating you about the course later.
I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express (beside the Travelodge we were in last year) on Saturday night. If anyone else is staying in Red Deer look into staying there. I'm giving David a ride out to the race Sunday morning.
I can make it for Cat 1/2. I'll be driving out from Edmonton or Calgary for the day.
I have to ask: How did Rod get the "douche" moniker?
It is from the "Blog Administrator Update" thread, I think I may have had a hand in giving it to myself.
