Cat 4 Ride Saturday

Any of the Cat 4 riders interested in doing a ride on Saturday? I'm looking to do between 2:30 & 3 hours starting at 9:30, leaving from the Walmart at Royal Oak heading north. Mixing in some tempo riding and TT intensity within the ride. Let me know if you are interested would love to get together with some of the new Cat 4 so that we can become more familiar with each other and practice some paceline work. Let me know Michael G

Cat 4 Dudes,

I have secured permission from my eight year old daughter for the Cat 4 ball buster on Saturday. I am really looking forward to mixing it up and trying some race moves. It would be great if we have a good turnout.

One drill we need to practice is the group lead out for Rob, we need to make sure that he gets enough space to maximize the camera time before he crosses the line, hopefully that will land him a trashy ABA bunny.

So guys lets target to be on the road by 9:30 tomorrow. We'll go rain or shine. The ride I had in mind was 40 mins aeorbic zone, 15 mins tempo, 15 mins TT pace, 10 mins tempo and repeat. We can use the second 40 mins to regroup if we start to split up. See you in the morning!

Hey guys,

I've also had a last minute change of plans. Family has come into town and unfortunately I have to cater to their every need, so I'll be held up all day tomorrow. But the good news is after the Easter Bunny comes Sunday I'll be heading out towards Cochrane, maybe out to Big Hill Springs to get some miles in.

Getting out with some of the stronger guys today was great and I've figured out I'm defeinitely NOT a climber, so that's going to be my focus on Sunday. If anyone wants to come out I'll be leaving between 12 and 1 (I'll post something when I know for sure) so if you want to join feel free!

That goes for anyone on the team

haha and Dan, Keith showed me how to do a good lead out today (which I messed up anyways), so next time we're out I'll get it right and I'll get the face time I so desperately need to find a trashy ABA bunny, just how I like em!

Rob,

Sometimes you make me wish I was single. A face and hair like yours, you probably get more a$$ then a toilet seat. Its too bad that you have to hang out with us old guys for advice with the ladies.

I'm looking forward to the lead out train drills, we'll have to schedule that pretty quick.

Slayer Dan was a beast today, watch out for this guy this year! What a beautiful day. Apologies to Jason, Harley & Amanda. We are decent guys... but today was a hard ride day. I hope you understand and hope to see you out and other rides and all the races we have this year. That said Slayer lived up to his name... and not just because of the music he likes!
